We had the best time on our Chichén Itzá tour mainly because of our tour guide Isaac. While we were on the bus on our way to the destination, he showed us a video with a lot of interesting information about the Mayan people While we were at Chichen Itzá he gave a great tour and again gave us all kinds of information that we couldn’t just look up on the Internet. When we arrived at the Kate, he took us to a Mayan ritual for cleansing. That was the perfect addition to that part of the trip. His partner Darwin, who drove the bus it’s probably the best bus driver in Mexico! We had to drive in the rain. We drove down dirt roads we drove over bumpy roads and he made the whole trip super safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Isaac and Darwin as your tour guides.

Isaac, our tour guide, was incredible. He was patient, kind, energetic, and quite entertaining. The tour itself was even better than we anticipated. Thank you, Issac!! The one thing I will say is that you should not take this tour if you are staying farther south than Cancun in the Riviera Maya. We were staying down towards Tulum and it took 2 hours of driving in a smaller bus before we made it to the bigger bus in Cancun and then another 2.5 hours to our destination. Also, even though we selected one of the pick up points the company offered, they still charged us an extra $30 since our location was farther than others. This wasn't communicated until it was already too late to cancel. I offered to switch our reservation to 3 days later since that is when we would be in Cancun, but was told that would be an extra $63 since we were past the 24 hour mark. Needless to say, we really didn't want to do another 4.5 hours in our return trip...so we took an ADO bus from Valladolid (right by the cenote) to Tulum for only like $20 USD. That ride was only 1.5 hours. Thankfully Isaac helped us out with the logistics of getting to the bus station and was quite accommodating and understanding. Our alternative return actually made the trip for us as it allowed us to take our time eating and then have the cenote to ourselves once everyone left! We loved it!

Highly recommend! Given the very rainy day we had, the tour was awesome. Isaak the driver did a great job. We enjoyed the entire trip. It was fun to try the different Mayan inspired foods at the buffet and the tequila tasting-oh my YUM! The cenote was breathtakingly beautiful. We may have swam in the Cenote if the tour allowed another 20-30 minutes or so, but we didn’t have enough time for everything. We would have enjoyed more time to explore with Isaak and/or alone at Chichén Itzá if it weren’t so rainy. The drive back was long because of the Hilton entrance being so far off the road…and very bumpy. Isaak is super knowledgeable about Mayan history and it was a wonderful experience. Thank you so much!

Such a fun memorable experience! Issac our tour guide was awesome, he brought the excitement while teaching us about the mayan ways. Thanks to Darwin our driver we also made it back safely through the heavy rain. Thank you guys for giving us a beautiful memory of one of the seven wonders of the world!

Amazing time with Isaac and Darwin. Isaac our guide, is extremely knowledgeable, a great commicator, friendly and super cool. Darwin drove the bus with great skill and efficiency, despite the rain, but always felt safe. A1 experience, highly recommend!
