Overview

Having been a sanctuary for early Christians,Cappadocia is an open air museum full of unequal natural and cultural components.The region of Cappadocia is located in the middle of a once-active volcanic area of central Anatolia.With its unique natural features displaying a harmonious combination of natural and cultural landscape elements,Cappadocia is an enchanting open-air museum and an unparalleled example of the common cultural heritage of humanity. This program includes the main attractions of Cappadocia such as Goreme Open Air Museum that consist many rock-carved churches,Uchisar castle which is huge rock-carved castle,Undergrpund city, fairy chimneys ,many interesting rock formations.On the way, we will visit Sultanhanı caravansarai. Private transportation ,professional guidance, lunch with drinks, all the admission fees are included in the tours. You can check detailed itinerary. Cappadocia takes 3 hours from Konya. The tour ends around 5 pm, and back in Konya around 8 pm.

What To Expect

1. Sultanhani Kervansarayi It is the biggest caravansarai from 13th century. Caravanserais are important structures built on important trade routes such as silk road for accommodation needs of merchants in Seljuk period. 20 minutes

2. Kaymakli Underground City Derinkuyu underground city ( approximately 85 m deep) which is the biggest of its kind . It was used to hide Christians during enemy attacks in the 5th to 10th centuries and has 16 floors, 8 of which can be visited today. 1 hour

3. Uchisar Castle Uchisar castle, which is the highest point in Cappadocia is a rock carved castle. 30 minutes

4. Goreme National Park Goreme open air museum , where you can see many churches built into caves by Christians between the 10th and 13th centuries . The churches are famous for their wall-paintings which are quite well preserved. 1 hour 30 minutes

5. Pasabag Pasabag , where you can see mushroom-like fairy-chimneys with multiple caps and stems situated in the middle of a vineyard. 45 minutes

6. Devrent Valley You can view rocks of different shapes, there is one resembles a camel. 20 minutes

7. Goreme Panorama Three Beauties Three Beauties are the brilliant three fairy chimneys. It is the most famous natural beauty and symbol of Cappadocia. 30 minutes
