Overview

Skip the steps on this guided tour of the Eiffel Tower and zip right to the second floor to spend more time enjoying what the inside of the tower has to offer. On the second level, your guide can help you find Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre, the Grand Palais, Les Invalides, and other popular landmarks, as well as recommendations for what to eat while you're there. When your tour is done, you can stay as long as you like and take the elevator to the very top if you've paid for the summit upgrade. On your way down, you can check out the first level to view Paris through a glass floor, visit the exhibits, and more. If you’ve opted for the Seine River cruise upgrade, you will also receive a ticket for a one-hour boat cruise. This is a physical ticket that will be handed to you when you check in for your Eiffel Tower tour. You can head straight to the boat landing to take your cruise after your tour or go on another day.

Meeting Point

Meet the team outside the Eiffel Tower 30 minutes before the departure time, near the trees and benches outside the South Security Entrance (Entrance #1) on Allée des Refuzniks. The representatives will have orange hats and signs reading "ExperienceFirst" or "ExperienceFoundry".

What To Expect

1. Eiffel Tower Elevator Ride Take a smooth glass-elevator ride straight to the second floor, as your guide points out what to look at out the windows as you zip up the tower. Second floor of the Eiffel Tower On the second floor, you’ll get views of Paris you can’t get anywhere else, starring some of the city’s other greatest landmarks: Notre Dame, the Louvre, Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre, the Grand Palais, Les Invalides, and more. Stay as long as you like enjoying the views, shopping, and dining at one of the many restaurants. Ask your guide for recommendations. Upgrade: Eiffel Tower Summit Reach the highest level at 905 feet to peek inside Gustave Eiffel’s office and finish your climb with a glass of champagne. Upgrade: Seine River Boat Cruise Your flexible ticket is good any time during your trip, so you can see the most famous sites of Paris as you take a scenic cruise. 2 hours

This tour doesn’t include skipping the line. Your guide will purchase the tickets for you after you arrive. The wait time to purchase tickets can be up to two hours or more, but rest assured that your guide will keep you entertained and provide insightful information about the Eiffel Tower while you wait in line together.
If you choose the option for the 7-hour Full Day tour, you will have a guided tour to the summit by elevator, a narrated bus ride to Notre Dame (which includes a 24-hour ticket that you can continue to use after the tour), a guided tour of the exterior of Notre Dame, entry to the Archeological Crypt, and a guided tour of the Latin Quarter ending in the Luxembourg Gardens. There will be a break for lunch (lunch is not included but your guide can show you where to buy food).

Per Eiffel Tower rules, if you upgrade your tour to see the summit, you’ll need to visit the summit right after the guided tour ends. Afterward, feel free to explore the other two floors on your way down. The first level of the Eiffel Tower has more exhibits, a glass floor, and occasional pop-ups.
Summit access included only if chosen at checkout. If the summit closes at discretion of Eiffel staff at the time you receive your tickets, you will receive a partial refund for the summit portion of the ticket.
Seine river cruise tickets included ONLY IF Cruise option chosen at checkout. Tickets are valid for a year and can be used at any time following your Eiffel Tower tour. You MUST arrive on time for your tour in order to receive your boat tickets as they are distributed during check in.
The company charters a shuttle to provide convenient transportation to the Eiffel Tower. You can take the shuttle if you’re registered for this tour. The shuttle runs daily.
Please arrive promptly at the meeting point 30 minutes before the departure of the tour.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Amazing Eiffel Tower experience with Joanna T

Our family of 4 had an amazing experience visiting the Eiffel Tower with Joanna T!! We took the elevator up to the 2nd floor, where Joanna gave us an excellent overview of all the landmarks in Paris we could see on each side. We learnt a lot, in a completely enjoyable experience, and really appreciated Joanna's expertise. We then took the elevator to the summit, and enjoyed the views from there. It was about 830pm at the summit, was a bit windy at the top but very enjoyable. Came back down in the elevator to the 1st floor and took in the views with the glass floor - recommend not missing this. The tower lit up at a bit after dark around 1015pm, which we viewed from below. Totally recommend this tour!
