What To Expect

1. Kusadasi At the exit of the cruise port, you will be welcomed by your professional licensed local tour guide who will be with you during your private tour and tell you every point of the ruins you will visit. We advise you to meet our team 30/45 minutes after your ship docked to the port. 15 minutes

2. Ancient City of Ephesus UNESCO listed place Ancient City of Ephesus that is one of the best well-kept Greco- Roman ancient city in the world, famous with Odeon where the music concerts were organized, Domitian Temple that is one of the first temple dedicated for a human, Celcus Library which was the third biggest library in the ancient time, Amphitheatre where is one of the biggest amphitheatre in the world with 24.000 people capacity and St. Paul preached to Ephesians, Marble Street, Roman Baths, Fountains, Temples, Agora, Love House, Public Toilets, Terrace Houses ( Optinal ) famed with gorgeous mosaics and wall paintings.... 2 hours

3. Ephesus Museum After visiting Ephesus Open Air Museum, we will move to explore artifacts in the Ephesus Archeological Museum. 1 hour

4. Saint John Kilisesi We will have a visit to the Basilica of St. John the Apostle. It is believed that the Evangelist St. John had spent his last years in the region around Ephesus and was buried on the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill. The tomb of St John was under the central dome of the basilica. In addition, while we are visiting the Basilica of St. John, we will have a panoramic view of the Temple of Artemis and Isabey Mosque and learn about the stories of these places too.

5. The Temple of Artemis Artemis was the Greek goddess, the virginal huntress and twin of Apollo, who replaced the Titan Selene as Goddess of the Moon. The ancient temple was built around 650 BC to the cult of Artemis, and was constructed on a site already sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess, Cybele. The temple was financed by the wealthy king of Lydia and the marshy ground was selected for the building site as a precaution against future earthquakes. While we are visiting the Basilica of St. John, we will have a panoramic view of the Temple of Artemis.

6. Kusadasi At the end of the tour, we will provide you some time to explore Turkish Traditional Local handicrafts. And according to your onboard time, we will drop you back to the Kusadasi Cruise Port. This tour is designed according to the preferences of cruise passengers and ensures the on-time return to your ship. 15 minutes
