Experience a full-day adventure exploring Hanoi, venturing off the beaten path away from typical tourist routes. Leave the crowds and tour buses behind as you cruise through the city streets on the back of a vintage Vespa, expertly chauffeured by your guide. Refuel with an authentic Vietnamese lunch along the way, ensuring you're energized for the day's discoveries. Safety is paramount, with provided helmets and raincoats ensuring your comfort and protection throughout the tour. Our vintage Vespas are equipped with passenger backrests, guaranteeing a secure and comfortable ride reminiscent of lounging in a chair. Additionally, rest assured that all helmets are thoroughly sanitized daily for your peace of mind. Immerse yourself in an intimate tour experience with a small group of 10 or fewer, while also contributing to the local community through our partnerships with businesses for food and drinks on our tour.

Pick-up & Drop-off: This is a group tour. We only pick up and drop off from your hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, otherwise our meeting point is: In front of Hanoi Opera House.

What To Expect

1. Upon meeting our guide and drivers from Asia Vespa Tours at your hotel, we will provide a briefing on safe bike riding techniques and important considerations while riding on our vintage Vespa. We will demonstrate how to get on and off the Vespa easily and how to sit comfortably. In addition, we will review basic signals to use when necessary. Our tour guide will also go through our itinerary in detail and inquire about any special food requirements. 15 minutes

2. Long Bien Bridge On the first stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, we will venture out of the city to visit an 800-year-old village and witness the countryside way of life. Along the way, we will take a picturesque break at a bonsai garden to admire the intricate art and stunning plant creations. 30 minutes

3. Dong Ahn Meet a local family living in a 200-year-old traditional Vietnamese house, try some candy with tea, and engage in conversation with the help of our guide as a translator. We then proceed through the serene banana and vegetable farming area of Red River Island. We traverse verdant rice paddies and take a dirt road off the beaten path, leading us to the Co Loa citadel temple. Here, we will gain insights into Vietnam's history through a historical site with stunning scenery, associated with the legend of setting up and safeguarding the country from foreign invaders of Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong, dating back to 300 BC. There will be ample opportunities to halt and capture photos of the picturesque environs and the locals working on their farms. 2 hours

4. Hồ Truc Bạch On the second stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, we will take a leisurely ride back to the bustling town for lunch. We will dine in local eateries and family-run businesses to support the local community and savor authentic dishes that locals love to enjoy with their friends. 1 hour

5. Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52 We'll proceed with the third stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, zigzagging through the narrow alleys until we reach Huu Tiep Lake where an aircraft crashed in 1972 and still remains at the bottom of the lake in the midst of a peaceful neighborhood. During our trip, we'll visit a local family and have the opportunity to chat with the owner, a war veteran, about his intriguing tales of Vietnam from his childhood to present times, including its heritage and culture. This will provide us with a chance to learn more about Vietnamese customs and traditions. 30 minutes

6. Ba Dinh Square Passing through the fascinating highlights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh square, Literature temple, Tran Quoc Temple , West Lake, Truc Bach Lake, Hoan Kiem Lake , Opera House… 20 minutes

7. Duờng Tau Stroll along the historic 150-year-old railway tracks to visit a nearby community where people reside with only a meter of space on either side. 15 minutes

8. Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake) During the final stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, we will stop at a special Egg coffee cafe which has been in operation since 1946. Here, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee before we drop you off at your hotel. 30 minutes

9. Continue we ride to the countryside along the Red River’s banks to take in the stunning beauty of Vietnam’s countryside and see farmers cultivating their lands. We’ll make a visit to a local family making bonsai to learn about this intricate art form and admire some of the stunning plant creations. This is a wonderful way to learn more about local daily life and tradition, our guide will assist us to chat with them as a translator. 20 minutes

The best tour that you could have in Hanoi, very insightful specially with Dat and Duc best tour guys in Hanoi! Had a blast with real Vietnamese food temples, churches, markets, history you name it these guys knew everything you need to know best wishes to them!

Very fun for someone who has not ridden a scooter before. Visited many interesting places, including a temple, a broom factory and a garden. My guide Thomas was great. English and driving skills were both very good. Didnt feel unsafe one moment and had lots of fun.
