One person of our team will contact you to give you the time and more details of the pickup process one day before your balloon flight. THE PICKUP TIME BEGINS AT 4:00 AM. The transportation service only applies from Mexico City Hotels located at Touristic Areas. It does not apply from particular residences or Airbnb and/or similar services. The transportation service is shared, subject to schedules and restrictions. In case you select the option without transportation and want to arrive by your own car, the appointment will be at Globopuerto Volare in Teotihuacán, State of Mexico, at the designated time. What To Expect

1. Teotihuacan Pyramids You will see the pyramids of the Sun and of the Moon during the flight. (Depends on weather conditions).

2. Zona Arqueologica Teotihuacan You will see the Archaeological Site during the flight. (Depends on weather conditions).

3. San Martin de las Piramides You will see the Magical Town of San Martin de las Piramides during the flight.

4. San Juan Teotihuacan You will see the Magical Town of San Juan Teotihuacan during the flight.

5. Teotihuacan Municipality Our take-off is in the Municipality of Teotihuacan.

Hot air balloon flights are completely dependent on weather conditions. The direction and speed of the flight depends on the wind, so sometimes there is the possibility of not flying over the archaeological site.
Children under 5 years of age are not allowed to take the balloon flight.
People under the influence of alcoholic beverages are not allowed to fly.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

This entire experience was so great. I kept hearing Volare was the company to book with and I understand why. They picked us up from our hotel at the time they said. The check in was easy and had coffee / tea with cookies as we waited. The pilot and his entire crew were phenomenal and knowledgeable. When we came back we had a phenomenal breakfast that was vegetarian friendly and listened to the beautiful mariachi. Such a great experience and worth the money.

We had the most amazing time, everything was seamless. Pick up easy, check in once there smooth and time enough for a hot drink, snack and pictures. The flight itself was incredible seeing the ruins from above plus all the other balloons made it look even more amazing. Our pilot Fernando was great, informative, friendly and fun. He was clear on the rules and we felt in good hands. Breakfast was simple but tasty and in a nice setting. The Mariachi band were great, a lovely and authentic feeling touch. You could choose to stay and explore the ruins on foot or head back. We chose to go straight back to CDMX as wanted to use that time for other things and it would have added quite a bit of extra time. Good to have the choice though and you are able to change your mind on the day (up until a certain point). Traffic going back to CDMX was obviously much worse but there's nothing you can do but sit back and try to have a wee nap. Overall loved this experience and highly highly recommend.

Took my two kids (13 and 14) and we had a wonderful time. We took an Uber to the meeting point in the morning and it turned out the Uber took us to the wrong address. The tour company was extremely kind and worked with us to get us picked up still! (Even though we technically missed our time and were at a different hotel!) The flight was incredible and extremely smooth, you barely feel like you are moving at all. The views are amazing and it's really insane to see all the balloons in the sky at once. We also added the pyramids stop and paid for a tour there and that was a great added bonus to balloon ride. I definitely recommend adding the stop at the pyramids and paying for the tour there!
