Overview

A day full of Art and Food. On this tour you will visit historical sights of Istanbul as well as have the chance to taste delicious Istanbul street food. The highlights and sites you will get to see are the Turkish and Islamic Art Museum, the Rustem Pasha mosque, and the Spice Market. You will also go to Asian side of Istanbul and have time to explore the Fish Bazaar along with the different kinds of street foods such as doner, midye dolma, kokarec, lahmacun and much more.

What To Expect

1. Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum (Turk ve Islam Eserleri Muzesi) This museum contains some of the finest carpets from the Islamic and Turkish world and is one of the largest museums in the world. The museum houses over 40,000 works of art that range from carpet art, wooden works, and stone art collections. 3 hours

2. Rustem Pasha Mosque The Rustem Pasha Islamic cultural center was designed by Ottoman imperial architect Mimar Sinan for the Grand Vizier Rustem Pasha, the husband of one of the daughters of Suleyman the Magnificent. The Rustem Pasha Mosque is famous for its large quantities of İznik tiles. 2 hours

3. Misir Carsisi (Spice Market) Spice Bazaar is one of the most famous covered shopping complexes and has a total of 85 shops selling spices, Turkish delight and other sweets, jewelry, souvenirs, and dried fruits and nuts. 3 hours
