In this PRIVATE tour, we will be visiting the most important historical mosque Suleymaniye Mosque, The tremendous views in the mosque of Suleyman awaits us with the huge history behind it. Also Istanbul is like one huge shopping mall and it is famous by its bazaars. On this tour we will learn a lot about how to shop in Istanbul :) The locations you will see in this tour are: - The Mosque of Suleyman (Suleymaniye): Built for Suleyman the Magnificent, It has very tremendous views, mausoleums and history! - Grand Bazaar : This is the largest bazaar in the world! We are going to lose our way inside the streets of the grand bazaar, and a lot of history, also haggling :) - Egyptian Bazaar : or Spice Bazaar, is a small bazaar but very good for quality, better than the Grand Bazaar! - Rustempasha Mosque : The mosque for the son-in-law of the Sultan Suleyman! - Nuruosmaniye Mosque : Its a mixture between ottoman and european art!

Meeting Point

The meeting point is Çemberlitaş Column on the Çemberlitaş Square, next to the Çemberlitaş tram station. The guide will be waiting with a purple flag.

What To Expect

1. Cemberlitas Sutunu This is the meeting point, The Column of Constantine (Çemberlitaş), the most important square of the Byzantine Empire. 10 minutes

2. Nuruosmaniye Camii The first mosque with European art. Let's learn the entire history of the Nuruosmaniye mosque, and its art! 30 minutes

3. Grand Bazaar This is the largest bazaar in the world! We are going to lose our way inside the streets of the grand bazaar, and a lot of history, also haggling :) 40 minutes

4. Suleymaniye Mosque Süleymaniye Mosque, built for Suleyman the Magnificent, the most wonderful mosque in Turkey. It has very good views, mausoleums and history! 1 hour

5. Tahtakale District The neighborhood where there are only native businesses, a very good place to avoid the tourist shops, the guide will help you know where it is best to shop. 25 minutes

6. Misir Carsisi (Spice Market) The Spice Bazaar, or Egyptian Bazaar, is a small bazaar but very good for quality, better than the Grand Bazaar! 10 minutes

7. Galata Koprusu The Galata Bridge is the connection between the modern and historical parts of Istanbul. It is a very central location, from there you can go to drink, or you can continue learning about the history. The guide will give you a lot of information about where you can go. Here the tour ends. 10 minutes
