What To Expect

1. Bangkok Canal With its profusion of canals and temples, Bangkok gained the name “Venice of the East.” Life along the river and waterways has become an integral part of the Thai lifestyle. A boat cruise allows visitors to see Thai way of life along both banks, The scene of a traditional lifestyle which has hardly changed over the years. Enjoy a discovery trip into the canals of Thonburi by a long-tailed boat, passing by ancient temples among lush greenery, wooden houses built on stilts, coconut groves, garlanded shrines, and spirit houses as well as vendors offering goods on their boats. 1 hour 30 minutes

2. Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) Stop at the famous Temple of Dawn or Wat Arun. Its most attractive and conspicuous feature is the 79-meter-high Prang or pagoda which glitters from thousands of porcelain fragments. 1 hour 30 minutes

The canals in Bangkok have a lock system that you have to navigate to enter the canals. Once inside you will see water monitors and the second largest Big Buddha in Thailand. Wat Arun is a must see. The four hour trip was perfect to see something and still have the rest of the day to do other things. Our guide was fantastic and took us to a great restaurant that was not part of the tour.
