What To Expect

1. Devil's Bridge The Devil’s Bridge is a remarkable example of sea-water erosion. Geological, Devil's Bridge is a natural arch carved by the sea from soft and hard limestone ledges of the Antigua formation, a geological division of the flat north-eastern part of Antigua. 20 minutes

2. Dow's Hill Interpretation Centre Multimedia exhibitions on the island's history, from the indigenous inhabitants to British colonialism to today. The view from Dow's Hill offers a commanding view of English Harbour and the southern coastline of the island. 30 minutes

3. The Blockhouse Perched hundreds of feet above sea level, this provides a great viewing platform of the rest of the island. Look in one direction and you’ll spot Indian Creek, once home to Antigua’s first peoples. Turn around, and you’ll catch a glimpse of the glamorous Antiguan home of musician Eric Clapton. Amazing photos await you there!! 15 minutes

4. Shirley Heights At the most southerly tip of Antigua, The Lookout, part of the Shirley Heights Lookout military complex, commands a breathtaking view over the whole of English Harbour. Shirley Heights dates back to the 17th century. This historical site is said to have been built by the British military who were in control of Antigua at the time. A great photo opportunity!! 15 minutes

5. Nelson's Dockyard Nelson’s Dockyard is the largest of Antigua’s National Parks and is still used today as a working dockyard for numerous yachts and ships. Fully restored to its original splendor, the eighteenth- and nineteenth-century buildings of the Dockyard house modern amenities such as shops, hotels, and marina businesses. 45 minutes

6. Fig Tree Drive Fig Tree Drive runs through a green area of Antigua, past rainforests and massive banana trees (locals like to call figs). Roadside vendors sell local fruits , so don't pass by without asking them for some mango or black pineapple. Along the way you will pass by the ziplines and yes , look for a few beaches at end of it!!

7. Darkwood Beach Darkwood offers some of the most iridescent seas and white beaches on the island, set on a backdrop of hilltops and tropical forestry; the views are both panoramic and spectacular also on a clear day, you can see Montserrat. Being one of the longest stretches of beach there is ample space to take it all in and with warm, alluring sea lapping up on pristine sands, there is plenty of reasons to visit! 30 minutes

Cricket tour

We were very lucky to have George as our driver. So with 4 of us including him, it felt like he was already a friend who knew the area and had the knowledge of cricket too. So we thank him for his time and efforts which were on their own First Class. I absolutely guarantee you will have a an amazing time seeing the sights and more of this beautiful island.Despite having seen most before I was more than happy to see again. Thank you to to your company who accommodated our needs too

Good overview of the main tourist spots LT was our tour guide, very friendly and interacted well with the 4 members of the tour. There was no rush on the tour, and it lasted an extra hour.

A grand day out with Lionel

The trip seemed pricey. However, having done the day trip, it was excellent value for money. Our guide, Lionel, was great - friendly with a good sense of humour. We went to Devil’s Bridge, Shirley Heights, a view of Eric Clapton’s house, a 15 minute film about Antigua’s history and then lunch at Nelson’s dockyard. The scenery was stunning throughout and the commentary from Lionel was informed and interesting. All in all, a great tour and a memorable souvenir of Antigua. Highly recommended.

The trip was amazing and beyond my expectation. Our small group of 3, another lady, her mother and myself, were picked up in our respective hotels and our driver&guide George was so considerate and experienced. He adjusted the arrangement and pace of the tour according to our needs and he introduced a lot, not only about the scenary but also about the local life. The driving time between scenary spots were filled with joy and ease. I used to be carsick but I didn't feel it in the trip. I highly recommond this trip if it's your first land visit to Antigua.
