Discover the Palace of Versailles with this 90-minute guided tour. Choose the time that better suits your program and make your own way to Versailles. Your guide will take you on an unforgettable tour of the Hall Of Mirrors and State Apartments. Stroll around the famous French gardens at your own leisure after the tour (additional entrance ticket required on musical or fountain show days).

Meeting Point

Check in at GetYourGuide office, located near Café Madeleine, across the street from the train station Versailles Château Rive Gauche (RER line C). Do not go directly at the Palace of Versailles.

What To Expect

1. Palace of Versailles Visit the famous French Sun King's residence at the Palace of Versailles, located about 45 minutes by train from central Paris. Save time and get priority access to this popular attraction. Make your own way to Versailles on the RER train Line C to Versailles Château Rive Gauche station, where you will meet your guide at the office easily located across the street. 1 hour 30 minutes

2. Jardins du Chateau de Versailles Marvel at the gardens' grandeur, its bronze statues, and ornamental basins accompanied by rows of large trees. Tickets to access need to be purchased from Arpil to October 1 hour

The time on your voucher is the meeting time at the agency (tour departs few minutes after). In case of late arrival for the check-in, we cannot guarantee access to the palace, fees will be applied if another slot time is available for a rescheduling
The scheduled time access can be slowed down on peak days due to various safety controls established by the Versailles Palace
Bring your own headphones if you have them; standard jack, not Bluetooth
The palace gardens are free every day from November to March. No garden tickets are needed to visit on these dates. Prices have been adjusted accordingly. There are no musical or fountain shows on days when the gardens are free
Baby strollers could be refused at the entrance of the palace

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The line to get into the Palace was a bit unorganized and chaotic but my tour guide, Auralia, was great. Very friendly and we enjoyed the tour. Visiting Versailles before the Louvre was a good idea as there are many historical ties between them. Highly recommend the tour.
